About the role

An exciting opportunity now arises for a Logistic Solutions Executive to be based in our Hatchobori Office, Tokyo. This Logistic Solutions Executive develops innovative and realistic solutions to address our customers' requirements in terms of performance, cost, and providing services such as network strategy, warehouse design, operational improvement initiatives and labor planning.

What you will be doing

As part of the Solutions teams, you will work alongside Engineers focusing on Logistics and Supply Chain consulting and tailored-made services and the Sales team to interact with potential and existing customers to understand their needs.

Day-to-day, you will be responsible for performing market research of potential partners, industry market trends, competitor analysis etc, establishing partnerships with logistics providers, participating in meetings and workshops with customers and assisting in the bidding process. To be successful in this role, you will analyse customers' supply chain and operational processes to identify leads of improvements where Bolloré Logistics' expertise could support the success of our customers. You will design operational plans such as financial savings, reduction of lead time and other initiatives to meet customers' needs and monitor the implementation of the newly designed scheme through KPI/Dashboard.

 

Profile

• At least 3 years of experience in a key account management / business development / market research / Supply Chain or any relevant roles
• Good knowledge in the Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry
• Japanese speaking is a must as this role involves frequent interactions with Japanese customers and providers
• Fluent in English (speaking and in writing)
• Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
• Pragmatic approach to problem solving
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Sales mindset is a plus
• Customer centric
