Mission description
THIS OPPORTUNITY REQUIRES THE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK
Job Purpose:
To expedite global inbound / ouotbound movements on behalf of our clients. To work in their interests whilst delivering strategic objectives of the Bollore group.
Profile
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
• Planning and arrangement of international consignments according to client instructions and requirements
• Receiving pre-alerts and shipping documentation for Courier, Air and Road
• Opening of files and issuing customs entry instructions for arrivals ensuring 100% check for compliance in line with company AEO accrediatation.
• Day to day invoicing and job costing
• Follow up of purchase orders/shipments
• Communication with overseas offices if required
• Ensuring we meet company Data Quality KPIs with required tracking information
• Ensuring any Purchase Matching queries are cleared within KPI timeframe
• Collecting VAT/Duty from customers if required
• Other duties as reasonably requested by line manager
Minimum Requirements:
• Logistics / shipping experience.
• Computer literacy is a must
• Professional telephone manner and customer service skills are essential
• Attention to detail is vitally important
• Friendly, calm and professional manner
• Ability to handle pressure and good time-management
• Ability to adapt to change and work effectively as part of a team
• Enthusiasm and self-motion expected
