Mission description
THE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK IS A PRE-REQUISITE FOR THIS POSITION
Job Purpose:
To achieve day operations in respect of the unloading / loading vehicles, receiving freight, putting freight away, pulling freight, despatching and labelling in accordance with set requirements of each customer, mode and compliance with rules and regulations.
Profile
Key responsibilities:
• Control of all goods received, recorded, handled and despatched throughout the warehouse and transport system, with special emphasis to ERTS compliance and accurate labelling of all goods.
• Compliance with all ISO, company and legal requirements with special attention to aviation and premises security – including x-ray / make known processing, health and safety and dangerous goods handling.
• Strict compliance with customer service and quality requirements. Ensure that all service failures, damage, discrepancies and incidents are recorded (NCR) and acted upon effectively and reported.
• Ensure that all damages, discrepancies, service failures and incidents are recorded and acted upon effectively.
• Full compliance with warehouse and forecourt image.
Minimum Requirements:
• Warehouse experience required
• FLT licence – Aviation Security Training would be a “plus”
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to implement change
• Enthusiasm / Flexibility
