Mission description

Provide support to the Operations team, act as an expert resource for handling difficult/new shipment types and help maintain the adherence to SOPs and contract/client requirements.

Duties and Activities:
Handle complex shipments, ensure quality, and troubleshoot
Secure correct implementation of new traffics
Record customer order in the TMS (Transport Management System) for complex or new shipments; validate alignment of the customer order with our offer (quotation, SOP)
Collect requested documents (commercial Invoice, packing list …) for complex or new shipments
Help maintain high levels of customer service
Periodically review and update the SOPs with the teams
Support Operational teams through communication and training.
The employee will be required to take day trips over
short distances; or for extended trips that are reasonably well planned.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: International Freight Forwarding (knowledge in Supply Chain and/or Logistics will be a plus)
5 yrs experience in freight forwarding and logistics with key emphasis in the flow management / control tower / IFF contract operations management / key accounts
Good command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Power Point)
