The role of the Stock controller sits firmly within the foundation of our core function, providing world class spares support to our Airline customer. Assisting in the day-to-day activities of the department and supporting their Team to the best of their abilities, a Stock Controller will assist in managing Aircraft Inventory in the warehouse as a whole and promotes an environment of continuous improvement.

The Opportunity:

You will be responsible for assisting and supporting in the day-to-day activities of the Warehousing department enabling you to learn several key warehouse processes. This will require good time management skills, a methodical and organised approach with an ability to respond to changing priorities. This role would suit an individual with good attention to detail, Stock Inventory Management and who can work flexibly both individually and as part of a team to deliver a world class service.

Job Purpose:
Working Mon-Fri 9.00am to 5.30pm (negotiable), supporting Goods in and Stores in an efficient manner, ensuring full control and administration of all stock held in the technical stores areas and correctly transacting all inventory movements on the computerised inventory system. Dealing with first line queries regarding inventory and liaising with your supervisor to solve inventory queries as they arise. The job holder must maintain a clean, safe and secure working environment within the Civil Aviation Authority and Quality mandatory regulations.



Key responsibilities:
• Control of all goods received, handled and despatched throughout Stores, with special emphasis on Part 145 compliance, accurate labelling and storage locations
• Consistently maintain the required standards of housekeeping and cleanliness including safety precautions complying with Health & Safety regulations.
• Ensure all material classes are packed/Handled and stored appropriately ensuring the computer system is accurately updated to reflect parts location.
• Ensure transactions are carried out within inhouse systems and customer systems accurately
• Responsible for Cycle counting and Stock Checking
• Managing Shelf Life
• Locating of stock, supporting the Part 145 Goods in Function.
• Follow compliance with all ISO, company, and legal requirements with special attention to aviation and premises security, health and safety and dangerous goods handling.
• Ensure that all service failures, damage, discrepancies and incidents are acted upon effectively and reported. Reports to be escalated to your supervisor.
• Effective and professional Customer & internal departmental communication via emails and telephone calls.
• Attending all safety and functional training that is offered and Comply fully with Security awareness and ESD Training
• Making use of all Dangerous Goods awareness training. Practice and utilise control measures and facilities provided. Ensure equipment is returned and stored properly
• Attention to detail is paramount to check documentation received or generated for the purpose of the task at hand.

• Follow established health and safety policies and procedures. Maintain your personal work area in a clean and orderly manner. Wearing, maintaining and properly storing your Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Any other delegated tasks as deemed reasonable as assigned by the reporting superior.

Minimum Requirements:
• Aviation / Aerospace knowledge and experience an advantage.
• Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
• AMOS/Ultramain or equivalent experience preferred
• Fully competent and experienced with Warehousing Operations.
• Basic knowledge of MS word & Excel, Microsoft teams.
• Required to complete all mandatory training courses.
• Counterbalance and Reach forklift operator's license/ Flexi-forklift licence an advantage.
• Give full assistance to internal audits and compliance checks as directed.
• A full 5 year work history required.
