About the role

An opportunity now arises for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Finance team in the Tokyo office.

What you will be doing

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounting Manager manages and oversees the daily operations of the accounting department, establishing and ensuring proper accounting methods, polices and principles. You will be responsible for monitoring and analysing the accounting data and produce timing monthly financial report and statements, half yearly Group consolidation report and driving the yearly budgeting and forecasting exercises alongside the Financial Controller.

You will be equipped with a team of experienced and junior team members in your daily operations, managing external and internal audits and liaising with auditors and ensure compliance to Group's internal control policies (segregation of duties, vendor management, treasury procedure, expense claims policy).



The successful candidate

• University Degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant
• At least 5 years of experience in leading an Accounting team
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Meticulous, analytical and ability to work independently
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic fast paced environment with tight deadlines
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Excellent leadership skills
