This position is based at our Dyce offices in Aberdeen. Aberdeen is a unique market it is expected that you have a very detailed understanding of the oil and gas industry.

Job Purpose:
• To deploy the strategic business plan for the Group and ensure the plan is delivered through operational excellence ensuring retention and development existing business
• To be responsible for the complete operations of Aberdeen including, but not limited to, Warehouse, Transport, Operations and general site requirements whilst working with the Front Office in securing new business into the branch

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
• Setting of Budgets
• Ensuring full site compliance at all times
• Question and promote ideas for change by constant review
• Ensuring revenues are secured for all work completed
• Ensuring all staff training is completed and up to date
• Compliance of all standard core KPI's
• Communicate effectively
• Ensure high quality customer service
• Engender good relationships with the Global Network
• Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure
• Demonstrate the ability to make informed decisions, regardless of outcome
• Demonstrate the ability to achieve and then exceed, in areas such as Gross Margin, Process Reviews, Overhead Cost Control, Staff Motivation, Customer Service and Warehouse Management
• Any other delegated tasks as deemed reasonable as assigned by the reporting superior
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years Logistics experience, to include Hazardous Cargo
• Proven budget management
• Experience managing people
• ISO Quality competency
• Health & Safety competency
• ICT Skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to handle pressure and ensure good time-management
• Ability to adapt to change and work effectively as part of a team
• Enthusiasm and flexibility
