Customs Clerk

Richmond, BC, Canada

Bollore Logistics is looking to add a full-time Customs Clerk to its team in Richmond, BC! We are looking for a dynamic individual to kick start their career in logistics.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will support the customs department in managing incoming requests from clients and other stakeholders. You will be triaging requests coming into the central email and sending them to the appropriate agent.
Responsibilities:
• Record and or distribute shipments to agents.
• Verify client accounts
• Retrieve courier HVS (High-Value Shipment), record and or distribute.
• Generate billing invoices and or distribute them to clients.
• Classify documents digitally and save them to the system
• Comply with Bollore's established procedures within required time limits, including ISO norms.
• Communicate, without delay, information or problems, to the immediate supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

 

Profile

Qualifications
• 0.5-1 year of relevant post-secondary education or experience.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service to clients
• Excellent organization skills and be a proactive problem solver
• Ability to manage own time and priorities workload to meet internal and external expectations
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Good interpersonal and teamworking skills required
