Job Purpose:
The Project Manager is directly responsible for the contract administration and mobilization / demobilization phases on the operational, Q-HSE, administrative and financial aspects of the scope. The Project Manager ensures the transition between each contract phases. The Project Manager ensures that contractual commitments agreed with client are satisfied while managing the risks associated with the project.
Profile
Key responsibilities:
• Manage the project operations team, identify and organize training if required
• Manage the relationahip with the Client and all contracts requirements
• Manage the operations in coordination with Bolloré Logistics network, optimizing costs and deadlines
• Ensure PNL follow up on project level with Branch Manager (Budget, invoicing…)
• Ensure the availability and suitability of equipment, services and staff to varying operational requests.
• Contribute by continuous improvement of the services, staffing, and operating procedures
Operations management – International freight forwarding :
o Define and implement the logistics operational structure, optimize it and control its effectiveness
o Supervise and optimize timely transport of material
o Select, implement and control IS-IT systems
Reporting
o Maintain records and statistics to ensure accurate reporting, these records being used for PNL and invoicing
o Supervise weekly/monthly KPI's on HSE and operational statistics
Q-HSE
o Ensure compliance of logistics activities and contractors with BLX Q-HSE, national and international legislation
o Provide support in any emergency or incident in accordance with HSE contingency plans
o Participate in the crisis management committee if so requested
Cost control and budgeting / Purchase and contract management
o Negotiate, follow and control good execution of contracts, services and purchases
o Define and prepare annual budget
o Specify, negotiate and make the technical recommendations for service agreements
Management
o Manage, motivate, direct and train all staff to ensure safe, efficient and economic services
o Be responsible for HSE
o Be responsible for PNL
o Be responsible for Operations
o Be responsible for Contracts
Minimum Requirements:
o Professional experience, between 8 and 15 years of experience in (supervisory) freight forwarding positions and one or more years' experience in an Oil & Gas EPC industry, Capital projects.
o Profile: autonomy, team spirit, decision making, adaptability.
